For my first post, I’m sharing a letter @NVIDIA signed on why open models matter.
AI will transform every industry, power every company, and be built by every country.
Open models strengthen safety and cybersecurity, accelerate innovation and diffusion, and enable sovereignty.
The world needs both frontier closed models and frontier open models.

Here is my conversation with Morgan Housel (@morganhousel), author of The Psychology of Money and Same as Ever.
We talk about the differences between the financially optimal decision and the psychologically optimal decision, why time is the key variable in compounding, FOMO, when it makes sense to be irrational, the differences between making and keeping money, why it makes sense to aim for average for a long period of time, and so much more.

Investing in Knowledge Graph provides higher accuracy for LLM-powered question-answering systems. And ultimately, to succeed in this AI world, enterprises must treat the business context and semantics as a first-class citizen.

A bunch of the semantic web services ideas from ~20 years ago are actually going to work much better now that we can rely on English and LLMs instead of markup languages and description logic.
As I watch Senators question #KBJ and opine on her fitness to sit on the Supreme Court (often reading questions they could not answer or pushing partisan talking points), I am struck by the fact that perhaps WE should do a better job scrutinizing their fitness to represent us.

Another great video from Trevor Noah. Quite a bit longer but very informative and talks about WHY we protest and how it makes a difference
I want Trump to be removed so that every 5th grader who asks “why was Mike Pence President for 2 days” hears a story about why white supremacy & fascism are threats to democracy. Millions of students in the next decades will ask this question and will know to reject fascism.
Some people ask: Why would you impeach and convict a president who has only a few days left in office? The answer: Precedent. It must be made clear that no president, now or in the future, can lead an insurrection against the U.S. government.
