@DominoTheoryMag I guess my comments were: the rough decision and actions of the executive branch to remove Chiang K.S. statues, with no appropriate and really democratic efforts to reach social consensus as much as possible, would be like the way those communist regimes did before.
A very successful mission briefing given by Ms. Elisa de Raes at @BelgiumUN on April 14. Student delegates from @nccu1927 found it extremely useful for their ensuing participation in the National Model U.N. ( @TheOfficialNMUN).

Welcoming @nccu1927 at the Belgian Mission to the UN today! Happy to interact with a very enthusiastic group of students, who are well prepared and dedicated to representing 🇧🇪 in the best possible way at @TheOfficialNMUN. Wishing you much success! #DiplomacyInAction
@BelgiumUN@nccu1927@TheOfficialNMUN Thank you very much for arranging such a meaningful and useful mission briefing for National ChengChi University (#NCCU) students who flew a long way from #Taipei to NYC. They have been more confident about the role of Belgium they are playing at the model U.N.
@mtdtl But the three gentlemen need to demonstrate their respective resolution to negotiate and cooperate before the mainstream voters begin really to dislike such political calculations and struggles among them.
@mtdtl A united ticket (for one mutually agreed presidential candidate) is now the most critical factor contributing to the green's loss, if the green will end up losing. They know clearly that, together they could win, and if not, they may be losing.
Today, KMT Chairman @JohnnyChiang12 and his int'l affairs team @KweiBo@dajungli paid a return visit to #AIT Director William Brent Christensen. The Director welcomes the KMT to reinstate its representative office in Washington DC for closer ties.

Han’s down – A China-friendly politician is humiliated in Taiwan. The title reflects the dilemma in Taiwan. Who are China-friendly politicians? Who are not? Who said so? Do Pro-Taiwan independence politicians invest in China count as China-friendly?

Extraordinary message to West Point grads from hundreds of alumni. "We pledge service to no monarch; no government; no political party; no tyrant. Your oath is to a set of principles and an ideal expressed in the Constitution and its amendments." https://t.co/49XsZ0N78S
