@burtmeister80@ChartwayGroup@Conningbrook@KentWildlife @WesterhillHomes @AshfordCouncil Everyone who came along was very appreciative of the reserve, and what we do. May be some potential volunteers there! With all the change coming, they gave me some optimism about the next few months at Conningbrook.
Local patch tick. Female Ring Ouzel dropped into bush by the bridge over the River Stour at Conningbrook 10.35 hrs and feed on berries. Couldn't refind at 11.15 hrs so may have moved on. 4 Siskins, a few Redwings flying over. Still Common Darters on the wing.

@burtmeister80@dbbirding@Conningbrook I have only seen them a couple of time at Conningbrook too. There aren't many of the species of tree that they are usually associated with, so they are pretty unusual here.

Superb news !!! The eggs of the Lapwing nest in the fields at @Conningbrook have hatched. 4 chicks running around mother's legs. A 1st for me here. Well done to landowners for not ploughing :-) Now to avoid the predators.
When visiting Conningbrook Lakes please adhere to the country park regulations at all times and remember to keep to the public access areas and tracks.
