Yesterday I took time off to visit @FAONigeria projects promoting dry season farming in the outskirts of Maiduguri, N.E Nigeria. Thanks to support from @EUinNigeria smallholder farmers now have reliable supply of water for irrigation of their crops, livestock and household use.
