Huge news: German State in talks with Tesla to deploy Robotaxis across the state in remote regions.

Minister of transport Robert Crumbach confirms that the state is in discussions with Tesla about wide spread deployment of Robotaxis to complement spotty public transport and allow citizens in remote regions to access this new form of transportation.

Pioneerlands views this as significant , as it is the first time that Robotaxi would be deployed in a totally new use case that significantly expands Robotaxi TAM beyond conventional ride sharing and turns it into an infrastructure solution that could connect tens of millions of people in the US and Europe with limited access to public transport.

@m0370 I did exactly this recently. I thought it was the UK version of the site but the problem was the same when we checked the Japanese version. Booked with JAL instead. Easy booking process and a great flight!

@JRUrbaneNetwork That's interesting. I stayed in Takeo-Onsen earlier this month while on a mini tour of Japan. I chose it because of the shinkansen availability to Nagasaki. I had no idea Saga didn't want the shinkansen and just assumed the line would join to Hakata later!
