For International Day of Solidarity, I decided to share a wood slice ornament I painted. Here’s hoping for a world without military occupation and apartheid, one where Palestinians are free. 🇵🇸 🍉

@taskmasterfan In the Bloodline novel, Mon Mothma messages Leia after Ransolm Casterfo reveals Leia’s biological father is Darth Vader. Mon Mothma implies that she knew the secret of Leia’s parentage (long before Casterfo broadcast it to the rest of the galaxy).
Sports don’t exist in an apolitical vacuum. And Israel is a settler-colonial state committing genocide against Palestinians. Likewise, it’s fair to question the team’s decision to sign an athlete from the rogue apartheid entity.
🇮🇱 Israeli national team member Mark Rura has officially signed with Tokyo Great Bears for the 2026-27 season.
The 20-year-old rising star will take the next step in his professional career as he makes his debut in Japan’s top volleyball league.

It's baffling to see people perform mental gymnastics to defend their use of generative AI. They should admit they don't care about the environmental and social costs of the technology.
@Feisty_Waters There’s a couple of workers at my county library branch who regularly wear respirators. I asked one where she orders her KN-95s with headstraps, and she shared the manufacturer’s name. I’m upgrading to those for higher risk situations. 🩵
Two things can be true:
Public health officials have downplayed the true risks of COVID infections, and having good intentions does not erase the harm of choosing not to mask.
When I got my Novavax booster at CVS Pharmacy today, none of the people working there were masked. Originally the pharmacy tech offered to wear a surgical; however, I convinced her to upgrade to a KN-95 (which I provided). Small wins, I guess. 😞
Leftists: “don’t trust the government, they don’t have our best interests in mind, they don’t care about the people. We need to show up and protect each other.”
Also leftists when asked to mask: “but the government said I don’t have to!!! also I’m a good person!!”
Most of your claims about community don’t really work when you aren’t masking in shared air.
How do you care about community but don’t care if you get someone else sick with something that could disable or kill them?
Spare me with talk about community if you aren’t masking ✌🏽
Hey folks, systems and institutions are built and maintained by people so sometimes people have to be confronted about their role in systemic injustice in order to bring about systemic change
Got this patient info sheet from the after hours clinic where my son went for an ear issue (not Covid, thankfully)
Apparently they are calling Covid a "common cold" now & normalizing kids being sick like 16 weeks of the year "without cause for concern" 😳
