They ARE a burden to the drivers, they ARE in the way. They have right of way, placing the burden of slowing and waiting on the driver. I walk fast across crosswalks too. What kind of self centered asshole do you have to be to casually stroll across a sidewalk making others stop their 4000lb metal machine to wait for you? And then get it back up to speed, wasting energy and time.

Burritos can be frozen. Make 10-20 of them from your 50 dollars if you are on a limited food budget. Your other comments are perfectly valid reasons to order take out but are unrelated to the topic of cost. I eat take out a lot, I get it. I still live in reality and acknowledge I pay more for it.
