The problem is that Leclerc and Ferrari have had it too easy. There is a reason why they haven’t won a championship together. Everything about the team is messy and needed someone to ruffle feathers and say it how it is. Verstappen would do the same by the way.
I’m so disappointed in how Lewis has acted today. I’ve made no secret of being a leclerc fan first, but all of his comments today have just been so strange.
Starting with the comment at the fan stage about Monza 2019, which was just so unnecessary and pointed towards Charles. Why are you even still bothered????
Then after the shit show that is quali, including Charles nearly opening himself up to going out in Q2 to help Lewis, Lewis says that he expected the team to do better and that they were focussed on giving both drivers an equal tow - while Charles was sent out as the first one on track to help him.
All the while Charles has been faster all day, he was faster in quali and deserves a huge round of applause for pulling out a p4 from that car. It’s just so disappointing to see the team becoming more and more fractured. Especially in Monza
@katemackay55 He’ll be fine once the team sorts itself out. They’ll see the light eventually and know that Lewis won’t take their crap. They either listen to him or continue to be mediocre.
I’ve seen a lot of Leclerc fans obsessing over Hamilton and who is fastest. It’s every day now. Tomorrow is going to be very toxic again. I think there are bigger issues within the team.
@katemackay55 The engine is holding them back. The team itself can be a catastrophe don’t get me wrong. As a Hamilton fan I don’t worry about Leclerc, more the operation of the team at this point

🚨⛔️ BREAKING: Folarin Balogun deal OFF.
After Lamine Camara-Chelsea called OFF due to AS Monaco selling Balogun… also Balogun deal has now collapsed.
Monaco have been informed - following @_pauljoyce.
Newcastle have sold Tonali for £100m, Bruno Guimarães for £75m and Gordon for £69.3m to Tottenham, Arsenal and Barcelona respectively.
Woltemade is now closing in on a Juventus loan.
They’ve sold heavily this summer, yet Lewis Hall is apparently the one line they refuse to cross.
Hall wants United. United need a left-back. Newcastle have already said NOT FOR SALE.
Fine.
But at some point, “not for sale” becomes an excuse for not trying hard enough.
ACT NOW, INEOS.
Stop relying on Luke Shaw and pretending the left-back problem will disappear.
Shaw got cooked by Fawusu against Ipswich.
Bayern Munich is loading.
Going into Bayern with Shaw as the only senior left-back isn’t squad building.
It’s gambling with the season.
@CraigHope_DM We’d also need a replacement quickly, it’s not like we are well equipped in this position either. This should have been done earlier in the window ideally.
🚨 EXC: Newcastle have REJECTED a second offer of £15MILLION for Jacob Murphy from Nottingham Forest
