We called on the U.S. Department of Justice to hand over the full Epstein files to the UN Special Rapporteurs and UN independent committees for investigations, as this is an international case of crimes against humanity. But the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, the UN's top human rights official didn't even care to open an investigation or listen to our call for the DoJ, nor utter a single word regarding the largest human trafficking network in modern history.

The Doctor Who Secretly Poisoned a City to Save It.

In June 1908, a physician named John Leal made a decision that could have ended with him in prison. He was a sanitary adviser to the Jersey City Water Supply Company, the company was under court order for supplying contaminated water, and he had an idea. Without any permission from government authorities, no notice to the public, and no formal authorization of any kind, he decided to secretly add chlorine , a known poison , to the drinking water of an entire American city.

He enlisted engineer George Warren Fuller, the foremost sanitary engineer in the country, and over a handshake they agreed to build a chloride of lime feed system at Boonton Reservoir. In 99 days, they designed and installed a system capable of treating 40 million gallons of water per day. On September 26, 1908, the first mass chlorination of a city water supply in American history went live , in secret. When word got out, he was dragged into court.

Under cross,examination, the prosecuting attorney sneered that Leal must have expected to make "a fortune" from his innovation. Leal interrupted him from the witness box with a shrug: "I don't know where the fortune comes in; it is all the same to me." He had never patented the process. He charged no licensing fee. Any city that wanted clean water was free to take his method and use it for nothing.

The court ruled in his favor. By the year of his death , 1914, at age 55, just six years after the experiment , over 21 million Americans were drinking chlorinated water. By 1918, more than 1,000 North American cities had adopted it. A 2004 study concluded that clean water was the primary reason for the dramatic decline in American urban death rates in the early 20th century. Typhoid fever, which had claimed tens of thousands of American lives per year, was effectively eradicated.

A monument was placed at his grave in Paterson, New Jersey in 2013 , 105 years after his experiment. The American Water Works Association established an annual award in his name that same year. The tap water you drank this morning is probably the most direct evidence he ever existed.

That’s why he’s widely despised in the building trades across New York and New Jersey.

The real builders? They’re still here. Still working. Still carrying this country.
