@CaptainRex94@scottgiles94 Yes, under the AFL’s initial eye test they weren’t. And that’s where I have a concern. In the NRL the fact that there was any sort of head clash at all would see a form of a SCAT test carried out, which doesn’t happen in the AFL. I don’t think the AFL takes it seriously enough.
Hell of game, but if the AFL is taking head injuries seriously surely questions have to be asked about how Hall-Kahan was allowed to keep playing. That’s a brutal hit.
@scottgiles94@CaptainRex94 The quote is right, neither had to sit out for the SCAT6 and this is my conjecture. Same thing has happened with Jez Cameron twice in the past two years and he played on despite a clear head collision. The AFL is putting itself at future litigation putting players back out there.
@CaptainRex94 Hi random person, a head hit does not necessarily equal a concussion, but it certainly equals a test to figure out if concussion could be present, as per AFL rules. Hope that helps.
@Reynolds_R Said this exact thing last night. Everyone flying, nobody crumbing, not enough pressure. Looked messy last night and still only lost by a point - get that mix right and things look a lot better.
EXCLUSIVE: ESPN used AI to help create several visuals for Game 1 of the NBA Finals, the network tells @FOS, and is “evaluating” whether it will continue.
An image of Tony Parker drew online backlash, but there were other visuals, including one of Bill Russell.
You can't be mean enough about this stuff because blowback is the only thing that's going to keep nonsense like this from becoming a permanent fixture of sports broadcasts
Cats now with three losses by less than a goal. Been a fascinating watch in those tight ones because that composure of old just isn’t quite there. #AFLCrowsCats
The classic T20 scenario where a wicketkeeper, wearing batting pads and batting gloves, plus a helmet, takes a diving catch parallel to the square leg umpire, who is next to TWO square leg fielders, both wearing whites, with floodlights on under midday blue skies.
AI sucks.
ABC Sport is live blogging the #Socceroos friendly against Mexico and will also do the game against the Swiss, as well as having a consistent live presence during every match of the #FIFAWC.

Mick Malthouse on @abcsport on the Bombers coaching process:
It will be a sham, it smells already. You can almost see those that are around, those that have any sort of position have already pushed the button. The fact that James has said yeah I'd love to have the job and there's nothing wrong with that to say I would love the job but I just can't see how any senior coach that's out of the game would put his hand up and go I'm going through that. It's already been decided.
And any young bloke will go through it just for the process of understanding what it's like to be interviewed.
Others out there tonight from the article are Carrigan, Grant, Cobbo, Fa'asuamaleaui, The Hammer, and Flegler. Plenty of others not out there tonight including Walsh. Hell of a strike rate.
It was about eight years ago I asked two reporters at the CM to compile a list of 25 future Origin players. Sam Walker’s debut tonight takes the strike rate of that list to 16 out of 25.
He was so off the radar that we literally had no photos of him for the article.
@andrew_whelan Tried to watch Cats vs Swans on delay. It wouldn’t let me until the game in real time was over. Kept trying to force me into Magpies vs Eagles, even though that was also still being played in real time.
