Hey all! I know I don't post here much (I post on the bluer site a lot more), but I do need help. I'm making an app to help people with food sensitivities, and need testers! If you wouldn't mind, please fill out my tester interest survey. https://t.co/C20zh6FO0Y
@bcherny I don't think you really increased anything. I updated the same scheduled task I had to use 4.7 instead, and reduced one other down to Haiku, and it's blocked me until mid next week. Or maybe there's still the cache bug wasting resources? Not sure.
Because of those changes, login_succeeded and signup_succeeded (and the corresponding error signals) have been consolidated. This will be pushed this afternoon, the former for certain, and the larger Auth changes most likely, after full testing.
Some big changes for GodotFirebase coming! I'm in the process of writing a book on it and Godot, and realized there's 2-3 very weak spots that I wanted to improve in the code before I continue with said book! #GodotEngine
including the ability to simply await most, if not all, methods in the Firebase.Auth singleton! This removes entirely the old _is_ready() call and works with await correctly, so you can just properly await your login calls and get back the login data.
My first blog post on Eliminance! Pretty excited to be making these. They will go through the process of my research, explain why I made the app, and more! https://t.co/CBigkfI2Ba
Due to a slight bug found by a user on the bluer site, I had to pull down the jobs at https://t.co/necYZ2Qgmu. I'm adding them back in as I go, so expect to see them over the next couple days, but it's more work than I want, so I may try to figure out something smarter.
It turns out when a programmer uses A.I. to code, what they really just wanted was a friend to talk to about the code they'd rather write, rather than making the friend do it.
https://t.co/ijVbKXTkkn - new pattern I'm using in #GodotEngine mimicking the Riverpod library in #Flutter. I'm loving it for highly reactive codebases.
If I were to write a book on a topic for #GodotGameEngine, if I included a bit at the end for how to use LLMs in the engine (not the main purpose, nor for assets or code, more like a piece of bonus content), would that put you off from buying it?
Did you know I made a #SlayTheSpire2 helper on my site at https://t.co/gjshRJsfD9? It's free (for now), but I do ask for donations because it's definitely not free to host/develop! Please consider helping out. If you want features, let me know, happy to work on them!
Some new jobs up over at https://t.co/SfbPbD85d0 - even a new #GodotGameEngine one! I'm happy to provide these for free, but donations would help tremendously with my costs. Please consider it even if you don't use it - you might some day! Donation link is on site.
Running my script to update the #SlayTheSpire2 site at https://diurnalproductions/spirewire ! However, it's going to take some time to process the results. Expect new stuff today, though! What features would you like to see?
Incidentally, I've also made another site for #SlayTheSpire2 stuff! Right now, it features card evaluations based on several sites, as well as a draft helper.

Just spun up a new site on my main one: a game-dev-related job board! Feel free to pop by and make a post if you have any jobs that need doing (it's for companies and individuals), or check it out to see what's available! https://t.co/SfbPbD85d0
