@OnDisasters Not the only fatal crash with the DC-10 on American Airlines. Look up Flight 191 in 1979. Although that caused by improper maintenance procedures, not any fault of McDonnell Douglas or the design of the DC-10, IIRC.
@alexmoore Never did. I think I had two of them at one point. Might have sold one of them I think. I'm a ThinkPad fan now I have a T43p with the UXGA IPS screen which I'm eventually to replace the lid on and max it out too.
@FountainCartoon John, did you ever get a jacket like this when you worked on Fairly OddParents? I got this jacket from eBay back in December and it's a crew-only jacket that I guess someone didn't want anymore.

I finally met @toddrundgren for the first time! For almost four years I have been waiting for a meet and greet to be offered and I finally got it! Plus an amazing night of Burt Bacharach music! #toddrundgren#burtbacharach
@FairlyOddFather Butch please come to Motor City Comic Con... I want to meet you so badly, you were born in Detroit so Michigan is your roots and you should come back please
@notjustcart00ns It looks like they're using a 35mm MOS Arri camera in these photos which is extremely loud and can't record dialogue. While Arri had blimped cameras around this time like the Arricam, a lot of American filmmakers usually went with 35mm sync sound Panavision cameras.
@notjustcart00ns Interesting. So they used Arri cameras for the trailer but Panavision cameras for the actual movie according to IMDb. Depends on the type of shot I guess.
@Worksh_Op I can't see why anybody would release a system that used a stylus when optical disc systems like LaserDisc was already on the market. I mean if it was like 1970 or even 1975 I could see a needle based video record system, but with LDs already out in 78 it seems like a waste
