6 years ago to the day, I was London bound as a finalist in the UK Blog Awards.

I often say I've achieved a hell of a lot in the last 6 years since diagnosis, but this is a testament to those words.

I really have.

Such a poignant and positive message, however, we as a society need to start talking, all of us.

Take the pressure away from all those who are struggling and normalise the discussions of mental health, depression and suicide.

5 years ago to the day I was in Westminster, London for what was then the #UKBlogAwards

Entered and ended up a national finalist in the 'Events and Weddings' category.

The only event blog that was a finalist.

As memories and reminders go, this was a good one.
