Honoured to join the Lotha Catholic Khümshüm, Kohima, for the Golden Jubilee celebration this morning, marking 50 years of faith, fellowship and service, and unveil the jubilee monolith.

It was a privilege to be part of this historic occasion in the gracious presence of Most Rev. Dr. James Thoppil, Bishop of the Diocese of Kohima, whose guidance continues to inspire the faithful across our state.

This Jubilee is a tribute to the vision of the pioneers, the dedication of clergy and catechists, and the commitment of generations of faithful who have nurtured this community with sacrifice and love.

May this milestone renew the united resolve to serve with humility, strengthen unity among the people, and work together for peace and progress in Nagaland.

Warm wishes to the entire community on this Golden Jubilee. May the journey ahead be blessed with continued faith and harmony in Christ.

Happy to be a part of the 53rd General Conference of the Lotha Students’ Union at Old Changsü Village today and share my thoughts with our young leaders on the importance of culture preservation, skill development, and other relevant issues. Also had the honour of unveiling the LSU Monolith at Englan.

This conference stands as a meaningful gathering of young minds committed to dialogue, responsibility, and progress. With 91 units affiliated to the LSU body, the Lotha Students’ Union has, over the years, played a vital role in shaping leadership, nurturing cultural values, and strengthening unity among the youth. Bringing students together from different ranges and backgrounds, this platform encourages thoughtful exchange and collective action.

It was encouraging to be joined by ADC Wokha Shri Renbomo Ezung, ASP Wokha Shri Biren Lotha, Lotha Hoho Chairman Er. Mhondamo Ovung, and LSU President Shri Lirhonthung Kithan, among others.

I commend the organisers, volunteers, and the host for their dedication and hard work in making this event possible. May this conference inspire fresh ideas, mutual respect, and a stronger sense of purpose. My best wishes to everyone involved.

Deeply saddened by the passing of Smti Zevi (Anei) Patton at Eden Hospital in Dimapur today. She was the wife of late Shri Nrio Patton, who retired as Joint Director in the Food & Civil Supplies Department after serving the people for decades with dedication.

My family and I extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. May her soul rest in peace, and may the family find strength and comfort in this time of loss.

Deeply touched by the warm reception at Dimapur Airport today. My heartfelt thanks to the Dimapur Lotha Hoho, Chümoukedima Lotha Hoho, different civil society organisations, and the wider community for such a meaningful welcome program following my return from the Vatican where I had the honour of representing India at the inaugural Mass of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV.

Their presence and kind words were truly moving and a reminder of the strength that binds our communities together. I also extend my gratitude to the media fraternity for their support.

Thank you all for this unforgettable homecoming.
