@DevMajorAbel What's wrong with Kinger's writing? I've always found him more interesting than Ragatha and until episode 8 I found him more interesting than Caine, but maybe that's just me
Obviously agreed on Jax though LOL
@I_am_Error1981 The fact that Gooseworx told the story she wanted to tell regardless of what the fandom wanted honestly gives me enough respect for it that it outweighs any criticisms I have of it, bc she shouldn't have to twist her story just because tadc was more popular than she expected
@DevMajorAbel Zooble comes across as very confident in their identity to the point where Ragatha misgendering them doesn't bother them that much. Buuuuut at the same time, the only time we see Zooble referred to with a female word (damsel), they say "dont call me that", so I'm not sure
@DevMajorAbel lol you were literally the first theorist I followed because you showed up on my recommended advocating for Jax being trans and I was like "hell yeah" so you bet I voted for ya
@DevMajorAbel Agreed, its just a matter of people not wanting to admit that he's done fucked up stuff. It doesn't matter if he's never publicly been bigoted, he donated to an inherently corrupt and bigoted party and that money WILL be used to further bigoted ideals. Actions have consequences.
@8BitRay Caine got to come back because it wasn't his choice to be deleted, it unfortunately was Jax's choice to abstract. You can come back from others pushing you away, you can't come back from suicide. If Caine had abstracted then the two comparisons would be equal but he didn't
@8BitRay Eh I'd say Caine is as messy as Jax but just in a different way. Caine's actions are an awful coping mechanism, everything he does is overcompensation due to him being abandoned for the blue orb at the start of his creation, and if Jax had reached out to others she'd be fine
@DevMajorAbel God I try to look at people and assume the best and that they aren't bad people and then shit like this happens that just crushes that optimism.
@JaniceGenmaicha@Kittay_Lizzay 100% agree, the dialogue and pacing is the worst in the pilot out of the whole show. It nails the existential feeling extremely well but I think that's more due to Gooseworx's incredible music than any of the dialogue in the episode
@8BitRay I've mentioned before that I headcanon that Zooble already knew and thats why they had that conversation at the start of episode 7, but I don't think either of them would out Jax after the abstraction, at least not intentionally
