Incredibly moving tribute for @elianamoreno at Whiteman Airport thanks to @PupscanLA and many others.
An impossibly beautiful day marred by a tragedy we are all struggling to understand
Eliana Moreno was featured on Access Hollywood a few years ago for her work covering car chases from the sky.
Last night she was covering a deadly crash in Chatsworth, when the helicopter went down.
RIP
A few words about tonight’s incident:
Many of us in the local SoCal Scanner community have been doing this for many years, and we are all unbelievably tight knit behind the scenes. with that growth came the natural interaction with the reporters, but especially the Helicopter Reporters. And it’s safe to say that we all looked up to @elianamoreno as she was one of the best. She was always more than willing to chat with us about pursuits and breaking news. She always had the biggest heart and was the nicest person you could ever ask to talk to on here or those who were lucky enough to meet her in person.
You will be forever missed, thank you for all of the memories Eliana. Soar high in the sky forever ❤️❤️ @NBCLA
