@RonDeSantis What do the municipalities do with all this extra money from these sales that continue in perpetuity and grow as more houses sell. Like this one house in Miami when it sells taxes will probably be around $12000 to $14,000 annually vs the $1700 for the last 30 years.

@AlexLanfran I understand the purpose of save the home value, but it's unfair to a new home buyer. A $900,000 house would produce tax bills over $16,000 in area of lifelong residents whose property tax bilsl are $3,000. They are using the same county services but paying much less.

@RonDeSantis Homesteaded property tax values are such a scam. Currently buying another house, current owners have lived there 30 year, tax bill is $3,400 yearly. After we complete our purchase. House will be reassessed at the new sales value and will be paying close to $16k
