Morning All! I’m Adam, a Newly Qualified Paramedic based at Edmonton. I joined the service in 2015 as a Trainee Emergency Ambulance Crew and over the past 5 years have progressed through the internal pathway to gain my status as a Paramedic. I’m out on H203 today.
Today is our 10th birthday!
From humble beginnings as the Central Operations team, to our new name - the Tactical Response Unit.
A small number of Clincians has now grown to over 70 Paramedics, 5 CTMs and numerous resilience managers.
We have worked alongside a number agencies throughout the years, especially @metpoliceuk, @LondonFire, @BTP, @CityPolice & @TowerRNLI to name but a few.
Here's to next 10 years of joint working 🎉🎊
Our unit has responded to a number of incidents through our tenure.
Including both London and Westminster Bridge terrorist attacks, the Grenfell fire and many others.
On this day 12 months ago, our EPROs, @LAS_JRU@LAS_HART responded alongside @CityPoliceCops@metpoliceuk to a challenging incident at Fishmongers Hall/London Bridge.
Today our thoughts with those who were killed, their loved ones, and all who responded to the incident.
Some of our Paramedics undertook joint training today alongside @CityPolice & @BTPFirearmsUnit in responding to challenging environments.
Great day of joint working, employing @jesip999 throughout the day.
Yesterday was the inaugural game for the Sgt Matt Matiu Ratana Memorial trophy that will become an annual event for Police Rugby in Auckland and Counties Manukau.
Matt worked in both districts while in policing in NZ.

Today saw @Ldn_Ambulance Business Support Managers receive a refresher training day on their Loggist and Strategic Command support skills. They also got to see @LAS_HART@LAS_JRU vehicles & equipment.
On Armistice Day today, where they can, our teams will be observing a two minutes' silence at 11am to remember the fallen.
