It is actually mind boggling how anemic the USA offense has been in the WBC aside from the Brazil and Great Britain games to start the tournament.
They have struck out 40 times in 4 games since then.
They’ve scored 2 runs in their last 16 innings.
We’ve got two god squads going at it in the World Baseball Classic with team USA and team Dominican Republic, and somehow they managed to put a little league umpire behind home plate.
Guy has been awful both ways all night. How does this happen?
Y’all really wanted to compare Matthew Stafford and Drake Maye?
It was always Maye’s schedule, and not Maye.
Maye is seeing ghosts against a defense Stafford hung 831yds, 6 TD, 0 Int in his last 2 games against them.
Hope half of the MVP voters feel like frauds right now.
New 49ers defensive coordinator, Raheem Morris, and Rams defensive coordinator, Chris Shula, running that “bend but don’t break” soft nickel zone and arguing about who will give up more 9 minute soul crushing drives that leaves their pass rush gassed.
You have to give Seattle credit. They made a deadline move for a game changing returner. The Rams didn’t and stuck with Xavier Smith, a D list receiver at best, who shit his pants on the biggest stage.
It’s going to haunt him, and it should. That is a true never event.
@seattlerams_nfl Yes and no. I think Shula is equally the problem as much as personnel was. He’s Raheem 2.0. Needs dire straights or extraneous circumstances to duke up pressure. Otherwise he is content with death by 100 lashes, which leaves the defense on the field all day.
The rest of the NFL is seeing the joke of Chris Shula. He won’t make an adjustment. He won’t blitz. He runs the a soft nickel shell all day and hopes for help.
Props to the dolphins and the Steelers for not mortgaging their franchises for this clown.
The NFL has already made it very clear the officials in Seattle have been instructed to keep the laundry in their pockets. All of the makings for a long afternoon.
