@Ketaczak 1. I have been able to keep my grades up and end the year strong.
2. I am really going to miss being able to look out of my window and see the mountains. The east coast doesn't have anything like that.

My favorite memory has to be when I took all my skier friends snowboarding for their first time and got to help teach them how to snowboard (I think they all respect snowboarders a bit more now)

ST : One quote that I found that I believe summarized the reading was how transferring allows for the "mindful application of abstract concepts to new ideas", we are able to use transferring in all different scenarios to create connections. #writ1133du37
@josieal33762991 This is a really good summary of Beaufort! The idea of transferring is really interesting and very applicable to school and our own lives. #writ1133du37
@legoface2012 It's crazy how we do things without knowing but the minute we read about it, it clicks. I wonder how many ideas and theories are out there that we do and don't even know that its a thing.

@Ketaczak I've learned that I'm not as introverted as I thought and that I really miss being able to go out and meet people like we used to be able to #writ1133du37
I hope to transfer learning how to search for a subject that I find interesting and actually want to research, this is something I can use in future classes, and in everyday life. This will help me to stay curious and to keep asking questions. #writ1133du37
I was honestly grateful for taking Landmarks of Rhetorical Theory, I took this class first quarter and was able to apply all that I learned not only to my future writing classes but also all of my writing assignments. #writ1133du37 (I really recommend this class)
@Ketaczak I've learned that I enjoy pushing myself and working hard to accomplish my goals. I am able to pick myself up when I fall behind, and work to catch up. This year has definitely been an interesting one. #writ1133du37
Chipped my front tooth completely this weekend and now I am totally behind from spending these past few days fixing it, sipping a red bull right now and trying to catch up on week 7 lol. Hope everyone has a great weekend and hopefully it gets warm again soon! #writ1133du37
@JackKidder7 That's so interesting that you can reflect when skiing. Usually when I'm going down the mountain I am either talking gibberish to myself, freaking out over unexpected bumps, or singing songs to myself. definitely not a productive time like you. #writ1133du37
@Molly48158199 Props to you for keeping up with a journal, I always forget about them and end up writing on random pieces of paper or post it notes I find lying around. I wish I was a more organized person haha. #writ1133du37
ST : One thing that I really resonated with while reading Hickson's article is the way they explained how critical reflection is more than just thinking about experiences, but looking at how our beliefs and values have developed. #writ1133du37
I am most reflective when thinking about my actions towards others, always trying to be and do my best for the people around me, and show that I appreciate everyone in my life! It tends to happen when I watch how others act towards each other #writ1133du37
