WRIT1133 Section 37

[Jack Kidder @JackKidder7]

@Ketaczak I honestly did not think I was going to make it through this class. As I've said before, writing is rough for me. Thus, this class has been exciting and one of the top classes I've taken here at DU. I'm going to miss the views of the mountains and spankys! #writ1133du37

[Jack Kidder @JackKidder7]

@LA_Writ1133 The specific evidence you pulled from the reading is on point!! We are always transferring knowledge. We just don't know it.

[Jack Kidder @JackKidder7]

@FairbairnSyd @josieal33762991 I also agree! I have reflected a little in the past; the reflection on the daily has been something I have been trying to do. #writ1133du37

[Jack Kidder @JackKidder7]

Throughout the Beaufort reading, he focused on transferring knowledge from the past to the present. This results in gaining knowledge and bringing it with you throughout your schooling and future occupation, resulting in success. #writ1133du37

[Jack Kidder @JackKidder7]

@Ketaczak Having a full-time job, as well as going to DU it has been a struggle for me. This led me to evolve a stronger understanding of time management and how to plan out my day to be more successful in the classroom. #writ1133du37

[Jack Kidder @JackKidder7]

I can transfer the primary research skills that I have learned this trimester and conduct successful research throughout college and in my future. #writt1133du37

[Jack Kidder @JackKidder7]

One thing I have transferred from previous classes the use of all the resources that DU has to offer, such as tutors! #writ1133du37

[Jack Kidder @JackKidder7]

ST: I enjoyed the section of the Hickson reading, where he related back to his personal experiences. Specifically in the section "Baking a different cake," where he reflects on his old ideas and his own habits. #writt1133du37

[Jack Kidder @JackKidder7]

@Ketaczak I have emailed out my survey and set up my interview! I plan on doing my observation next week as well! Feeling good about where I am at, and I will keep trucking through this writing assignment.

[Jack Kidder @JackKidder7]

@ellie_schwade I can really relate to that Ellie! I'm always thinking about that type of stuff after talking with people, but one thing to remember is that you're just trying to better yourself!

[Jack Kidder @JackKidder7]

@josieal33762991 @allenhunter118 The shower is always the place that you just don't move and reflect, while the burning water pours on you!

[Jack Kidder @JackKidder7]

I'm most reflective when my mind is the most ease, usually in the mountains skiing. Providing me with a clear mindset where I stop and think about past events in writing or just in real life and how I can build off them to become a successful individual. #writt1133du37

[Jack Kidder @JackKidder7]

@Ketaczak I learned that you must ask yes or no questions throughout your survey. Therefore it is fast and takes no time for others to answer, so people will decide to take it.

[Jack Kidder @JackKidder7]

@colleenwrit1133 @allenhunter118 SAME! Cant come soon enough

[Jack Kidder @JackKidder7]

How was everyone's Cinco de mayo?! I just made some Mexican at my house and watched the hangover! #writ1133du37

[Jack Kidder @JackKidder7]

@FairbairnSyd Where about? My best friend lives in Wilmington!

[Jack Kidder @JackKidder7]

@Ketaczak @josieal33762991 Thats awesome hahahaha

[Jack Kidder @JackKidder7]

Has anyone gotten the second dose of Moderna yet? I have mine on Friday, and I've heard it's no fun the day after.

[Jack Kidder @JackKidder7]

@allenhunter118 That's awesome! I get my second dose on Friday!

[Jack Kidder @JackKidder7]
