Parenting today: We can’t go there. Put your mask on. No. No. Nope. We can’t. No. I hope so. No. No. 6 feet. Nope. We can’t go there. We can’t do that. Maybe some day. No. We need to leave. No. Nope. We can’t. No. Don’t touch that. No. No. No.
I keep clickign on the livestream link in the “Serving the Transgender community” and ending up in the “Challenges of Researching Women” session. Eh? #ALAVirtual20
I am in tears over this. KtE learned to talk here. I grew KtY in my belly on their food. Too many date nights w/ @wheresmyporsche to count. BPS fundraising, Mama Nights Out, milestone birthday parties… Eff off, #COVID19. All the way into the sun. #JamaicaPlain
Eating our first meal 17 years ago at the old @MilkyWayJP—surrounded by folk of every color, class, and gender—sealed our decision to move to Boston and bring up our kids in BPS. I also remember you let all kids eat free during the 2008 recession. So sad. Thank you. #JamaicaPlain
I took a brief twit-break, but I’m back to do a few things, in no particular order:

B) Ask folks what they need & if they want my help
*) STFU and listen

Love and gratitude to @kacencallender for their column in @them. KtY: “Woah, awesome. "Harry Potter Saved My Life. J.K. Rowling Is Now Endangering Trans People Like Me https://t.co/F1CKmfh6BK

@kacencallender The confluence of the current events happening during #PrideMonth reminds me of how far we have to go. The future is in the hands of my queer, trans, and mixed child & others like him. 1/
“Hello, @uspto? Yes, hi. Thank you for taking my call. I’m currently in a stranglehold and I’d like to kindly ask to be let go. To whom shall I send my permission request?” Save us from ourselves.

So proud to hear my friends and activists @ProRockThrower and @titojackson talking about protests against police brutality on @WBUR. I’m forever in awe of their voices and passion for the community.
