Having been diagnosed with bowel cancer last year, Jonathan Mills underwent treatment 🤕

Unfortunately he received the news that the chemotherapy didn’t work, just days prior to playing for his local cricket side Brookweald 🥺💔

He didn't let the sad news get to him though and after opening the batting, he went on to score 110 runs as he guided his side to victory by just one run 🏏

MCC president Stephen Fry was so touched by Jonathan’s story that he invited him to watch day two of the second Ashes test at Lord’s 👏
