@ChromeDash@ledgerstatus What kind of a cheap action movie are you living in?
Biden didn't convict him.
The DNC didn't convict him.
Hell, the prosecutor didn't even convict him.
A jury of his peers, selected and agreed upon by both sides, convicted him.
@AutismCapital Today's "Clueless Take of the Day" award goes to the guy who thinks all Black people stepped straight out of a gangster rap music video.
@GivnerAriel@blehayne "unprecedented use of state law to charge federal election law violations"
Tbf - Trump is an unprecedented example of a President. Many things related to him will be novel.
Any speculation related to motivation doesn't change the fact that a jury convicted him.
@Willie_beambk@donalt@runtheirstops Make sure to spend hours learning about crypto opsec. But don't overthink it or make it too complicated, otherwise, that creates issues as well.
Get it all just right and maaaybe you'll get to keep a big chunk of your net worth.
(this is a problem)
@JKernerOT@katepearl3@ABC Arenโt you also prematurely making assumptions? Investigators with access to much more information than the public are still looking for potential fraud.
@CrockPotRadical @evaluationcopy@chart_garden@high_in_seattle@ims43@balajis There was obvious fraud committed by Sam and FTX. Ofc that needs to be investigated so that the people hurt by it can receive justice.
Any focus on Ukraine and Biden complicates things and does a disservice to those waiting for real justice after real crimes were committed.
@CrockPotRadical @evaluationcopy@chart_garden@high_in_seattle@ims43@balajis You're assuming that the Ukraine/FTX partnership enriched FTX to the point that it made a material impact on Sam's wealth and subsequently Sam's political donations.
There's 0 evidence to support that.
@CrockPotRadical @evaluationcopy@chart_garden@high_in_seattle@ims43@balajis Dude, you're reaching pretty far to make something out of nothing.
Ukraine used FTX to facilitate crypto donations, and then deposits were made into their National Bank to make those donations usable.
That doesn't = corruption.
@porizna@Abadzhian1 @RomanRozhyk I'm sorry if this comes off as patronizing. As the son of immigrants in America, I know how counterproductive broad/simple stereotypes can be and I'm hoping others don't make the same mistake that so many in America make. Good luck.
@porizna@Abadzhian1 @RomanRozhyk No single person's experiences can thoroughly describe the thoughts and motivations of millions, even if it's the easy thing to do. I simply caution against stereotypes that create more enemies, not less.
@porizna@Abadzhian1 @RomanRozhyk I mean... something similar can be said about Americans and our coups/wars, right?
As much as you want to simply blame all Russians, maybe some credit should be given to the effectiveness of propaganda?
@porizna@Abadzhian1 @RomanRozhyk Again, don't judge millions the same way. When talking about huge groups, you're going to get all sorts of opinions. Yes, there are a lot of people who are brainwashed by propaganda in Russia, but there are also those who aren't.
That's the point... there's nuance.
