@felinxians He was still relatively young. Maybe he could have had all that if he wasn't shipped away. Comparatively I think he actually had more to give up than someone like Yao, who had a more complete life already.

@johnennis We just didn't need them much before. We had maybe a few days above 30°C each summer, that's it. It's only been in recent years where it would last a few weeks. Still, with old houses being poorly isolated, a small fan is probably the best option.

@CoachDanGo Buying a car. Got so much freedom and independence. No more reliance train/bus schedules, able to transport things by my self, able to go on spontaneous trips to the beach or whatever. I couldn't have done it sooner, but I wish I had.
