We had a blast today doing our school wide STEAM challenge, “Growing in Community”. We successfully built a school wide domino train from over 600 cereal boxes! These will be donated to a local food pantry to give back to our community. @LCESTEAM @sumnerstem @theTSIN

5th graders were visited by landscape architects from CSDG. They explained the park planning process, then toured the future park area where they brainstormed and planned together. The community partners returned to see the students models and gave feedback on their design.

Our LCE Leadership Academy partnered with Milosi Landscaping to learn more about the landscaping career field and assist in designing the plant beds around our school sign. Thank you Milosi for partnering with us on this wonderful beautification project! @sumnerstem @LCESTEAM
