You can still pass the virus on whether you have had the vaccine or not - according to the people I listed. Therefore this vaccine wont protect anyone but the person injected

Ergo, you could have the vaccine, pick up covid, not know you have it and still transmit it. This jab only protects e one who has had it, not those around you.

I’m pro vaccine, IF said vaccine is proved safe long term and works. It seems this one misses the qualifying point of vaccine

@jtmeier34 @BoyInTheTown @ParisDaguerre Not arguing the point you’re making. But according to the illustrious JVT this vaccine doesn’t stop you spreading it. Thus making the point of any individual getting it for herd immunity purposes moot. It’s for personal protection not the greater good.

A vaccine by nature should prevent suffering AND risk to others. To remove one negates the point of it and eludes to misleading data being used to justify use.

When you have a lead scientific advisor (JVT) say that the vaccine doesn’t prevent transmission, it makes the point of it entirely moot. I have the BCG to prevent me suffering AND from causing further infection due to tuberculosis. It’s not a me only jab

@Anjing___Iblis @StephJMorgan1 @BoyInTheTown @ParisDaguerre I’m just repeating points raised by JVT in today’s briefing regards transmission. The idea of transmission if vaccinated or asymptomatic is a new one to me, hence the rather flippant stance I’ve taken.

How is that any different to me not having it? If anything it’s better not to have it so I would KNOW I was unwell so could isolate?
