I’m making it a goal to submit poetry for publication over the coming year.
Anyone have good suggestions of publications that may be interested in Christian/Catholic sonnets?
@MmePapyraceus I love that the example of charisma is actors saying scripted lines. Of course the ladies in a Bond movie like Bond, that’s written in the script!
The backrooms being something that takes from existing things, doesn't understand any of it, then feeds itself with the same thing over and over until it all starts to become unstable with that yellow tint? You couldn't make a better analogy for ai if you wanted to 😭
Like, in the replies here everyone is posting aggregation or hosting platform sites (eg StumbleUpon or Newgrounds). The excitement of the early internet was that ANYONE could (and did) make a website. They didn’t have to be part of someone else’s platform to exist.
Sampetra INSU, the Redwall RP bulletin board. It apparently only existed for three years, but for those three years it was my entire life.
Also I think 2010 is too late to cut off “early internet”. I had Facebook by then.
@LizEHansen@EdwardVersaii I like Aperol, but it’s probably a bottom tier amaro 🫣
Ironic tho that at the end they recommend an Americano cocktail, featuring the flagship product of the Campari Group.
Ok—since you need to come over sometime, what if we do a Fellini & Amari night this summer?
What Cardinal Ratzinger, a deconstructing friend and a woman religious taught me about doubt -- thank you @americamag for including me in this month's issue! https://t.co/GUoCfWai7m
@SimonSimplicio There’s a real danger that political consultants interpret the demand for a strong opposition to MAGA as a demand for left-chuddism. And a real danger that there’s a constituency for that.
I had the same reaction but my teen assures me “Tis I!” is a recognizable catchphrase of hers. I guess I just wasn’t paying enough attention for the first two movies!
