It's been fun talking with Karl about this. I'm incredibly inspired by his approach to work - and definitely taking some of these methodologies forward
People think design is about how it looks.
It’s really about a deep and fundamental commitment to replying to your Slacks, Figma comments, Linear comments, emails, hopping on a quick call then doing all that one more time whoops times up see you at the craft factory tomorrow
Figma make is insane once you've figured out how to get your design system in there.
I spent a crazy amount of time this week getting it working and ran into a few hiccups. I published my adivce here for you all.

@Dustin_Kirk I want to be clear here - Most of this was entirely on our system, and not Figma's fault.
The only complaint I have was around the silent build failures, and the Figma team have been very receptive to feedback.
I've been tinkering away with a live design <> code, desktop app where you can select any element in the DOM and it takes you straight to the source code.
