@kristen_kieffer A4- I draw a literal arch to figure out the main beats that need to happen for the story to unravel. Then in between beats I outline what each character wants/how they react! #storysocial

@kristen_kieffer A3- I love to switch voice/objective for each character early to see how I want the story to unfold: “maybe she’s the predator, and they are the victim”, “or maybe I’ll give him the secret, but she’s the one that finds out” fun role-playing activity to discover! #storysocial

@kristen_kieffer A2- every morning I allow myself to write for 30 minutes on the piece I am excited most about. After that, I turn to the work that needs to get done! #StorySocial

@kristen_kieffer A1- I think (perhaps a simplistic view) many writers center each of their stories on one central theme, much like Flannery O’Connor. I try to brainstorm what theme/message I want people to understand or realize from my writing, then deduce a story from there! #storysocial
