Brutal, heart-breaking images coming out from Jasper.
Here's a post with more visuals on what's been lost so far. #yeg#yyc#ableg#cdnpoli

If any AB rural family doctors are looking to relocate after the election results last night then please consider joining us in the Yukon! Flexible practice, no overhead, good compensation and incentives, great colleagues and no UCP gov’t. PM me for more info. Sorry for the loss
What in the fresh hell is this new bullsh*t from @ABDanielleSmith ?!
Let's break this CTV news quote down
"NPs are trained almost to the level of Family Doctors"
Stop.
No they are not.
Any NP would confirm this as well. NPs are NOT the same as Family Doctors

I am far more worried about billionaire tech bros deciding how to classify media than I am about the government's interference in CBC news coverage, which is nil.
It's not much to ask for.
I want solid healthcare, some nice roads and infrastructure, world class education, good social services, and a safety net for those less fortunate.
You know, all the stuff that we pay taxes for.
Not subsidies and tax breaks for the rich.
I can’t stress enough how much I would encourage families, especially those with kids under 5, to all get vaccinated against influenza ASAP. I’ve never seen a pediatric flu season like this.
Before getting together with extended family, please test for COVID.
Swab your NOSE, THROAT, AND CHEEKS-- with the SAME swab.
Rapid tests have a high "false negative" rate if only the nose is swabbed. Adding the throat and cheeks is far more accurate.
Please share. Thanks.
@BridgieCasey @thelifeoftayy I also live in a small town with government subsidized daycare. I pay $200 a month for absolutely excellent care of my child including a full food program. Cheap daycare doesn’t mean substandard care. Our daycare is better than the one my sister paid thousands for in Edmonton.
Anyone who thinks an abortion for an 11 year old raped child is “out of convenience” has never had to help deliver a baby in this scenario and it shows.
I have, and it’s horrid.
If you’re arguing against mask mandates when pediatric ICUs are at or near 200% capacity across the country, you are prioritizing your own need to maintain the illusion of normal over the safety of babies and children. Let’s not sugarcoat it.
I can’t stop thinking about how Premier Danielle Smith actually said that staffing shortages have been “manufactured” by Alberta Health Services.
Visit a hospital, Premier. Talk to those on the frontlines. Your words are incredibly disrespectful.
You’re completely out of touch.
My husband reading with 6 yo and explaining “Miss, Mrs, Ms”: “Isn’t it wild that we created all these different words to tell the world whether or not a woman is married, but not for a man?”
