Well done to Smitha who was Ward 41’s Star ⭐️ of the month. Nominated by her colleagues for always making the shifts pleasant, even when it’s busy and for always using a calm voice.
Congratulations Smitha, we are very proud 😁⭐️ @emlcook@nhsuhcw@UHCW_TraumaNeur

A sad day as we say goodbye to ISA our much loved Critical Care Matron. Best wishes ISA and thank you from all of us! @JoanGoodbody@eastermark#uhcwteamcss
Some of our Nurses had the honour of an audience with the Duchess of Cambridge this week. It’s fair to say it’s a moment they won’t ever forget. @CWPT_NHS @ninamorganUHCW
Another busy day in the covid vaccination clinic @nhsuhcw, lovely to work with another of our retire and return nurses (Maggie) and such a wonderful team 👍#teamuhcw#doingagreatjob@vickyADN
If everyone who is grateful for NHS staff right now followed and retweeted, we would reach a million by midnight.
It will take just two seconds to do, and you can help us share important information that could help save lives.
So last week I cried because a patient in ITU held my hand and sobbed whilst still intubated and terrified. Today I cried because that same patient held my hand and sobbed that she could go home after we had walked together and planned discharge. What a fabulous outcome 🤩
