PTSD vs CTD: Continuous Traumatic Disorder. Trauma experiences are Continuous. The person being trafficked or smuggled may not easily agree to help because even thinking about accepting the help may be traumatising.

Trauma Triggers:
Any experience that "retriggera" trauma in form#of flashbacks or overwhelming feelings of sadness, anxiety, anger. Brain forms connection between trigger & negative feelings.

Trauma Bonding:
Persons suffering from pre-existing complex trauma more likely to develop trauma bonds(Stockholm Syndrome) with abusers. "The bruises made me feel special. The nice dinners and attention afterward were special." Survivor-Sex Trafficked
