@jonathanplumb@Latterdaytruth Really interesting take. I think you are on to something here. Could it be that our "ear in heaven" was much as the millennial war will be? Could we have done this millions of times before?
@BasedMikeLee You know this Mike - but if it does not pass, and soon, we will likely become a one-party state, and that one party will not be the Republicans.
@CwicShow So true. Sadly, it is much more than that. Socialism is the sales pitch of secret combinations that promises a world, free of consequence, and welth from the hands of others, just long enough for tyranny to replace freedom and immorality to replace morality. It is evil.
@MattM368063@JasminRappleye Weird -
Hey listen - if you want to actually learn and understand, rather than just parroting one-line bigotry, check this out:

@mqulis@JasminRappleye Translation:
"My people murdered a true and living prophet - now I'm angry that the Kingdom carries on."
Oh how history repeats itself. I do not find it coincidental that Jesus was killed for blasphemy - like so many of his prophets.
@JasminRappleye Not to mention the line: "Long shall his blood, which was shed by assassins, Stain Illinois while the earth lauds his fame."
Love Star in the East. Such a beautiful tune.
@Manhattva Between zoning, rent freezes, and other government interventions, housing has become a luxury of the rich. Despicable. The only solution we have found is buy land (if possible) and build your house yourself. Even that is becoming more and more difficult. :(
@CBHeresy Was violently attacked by a student in front of a class. Carefully restrained him - I suffered some separated ribs. Principal managed to get the police to charge me with a crime, lost the video footage, and lied about what happened. Won in court, but my career was ruined. :(
@Latterdaytruth I agree with you. I do struggle though. I attended a VERY anti-oriented university before going to grad school at BYU and was surprised to find some of the most anti-professors I have every seen at BYU. I thought I was escaping such things, and found myself right in the middle.
