Rough days happen. Everybody experiences them and they can be tough. On these days, remember these 4 rules.
1. Think of things your genuinely grateful for. Thank God for each and every one of them, no matter how small.
2. Keep moving. I don't care if you're tired, slow, and worn. Just keep moving. You don't make it through the day by stopping.
3. Don't let small things bother you. Like I said, everyone has bad days. Instead of cursing out that guy that cut you off, ask God to help his day go better.
4. Don't forget to breathe. Stress is hard to handle sometimes. Take some deep breathes. Take a small break from your work and close your eyes. Breathe deep and focus on your reasons for where you are.
Your mindset is everything. These rules will help you remain humble and calm. Let God handle the things you can't.
@OchoZaco We have to try to convert others because everyone believes their church is the only true and correct church.
We believe we are the only church with the whole truth. While other churches contain truth, they don't have the full truth.
Maybe America should go fuck itself.
The World Cup should never be hosted in a nation where it’s like the 5th most popular sport at best.
It’s in a shitty timezone, had shitty leaders and immigration policies, and doesn’t respect the spirit of the game.
Hard no for me Ian.
@realDrTT Christ said you'd recognize His disciples by their fruits. He also said a corrupt tree cannot produce good fruits. Other Christians love to point at our fruits, but then still call us a corrupt tree. Theology, while important, is secondary to this.
They have important work on the other side of the veil.
God has not forgotten or abandoned you. You are a beloved daughter of God. He is there and He loves you.
Question for my dear #LDS family. After my husband died he came to me. Same w/Dad & Mom. It’s been 11+ years since the last loss. I plead for them to come to me. Nothing happens. Why? Where are they? What are they doing? Just an I love you or hello in my dreams is all I want.Plz
@Jesus_Is_YHWH@bluerei@Grownded@RandomLDS It doesn't matter how much we tell you what we actually believe. Until you decide to act in good faith, you're not going to accept anything we say and continue spreading lies about or doctrine.
@residentreformr@jwheel0129 According to who? Revelation 22, which was written before most of the New Testament? Or how about Deuteronomy 4 or 12? Except if it was either of those then the NT would be thrown out the window. If the canon was closed, surely God would have told us through His prophets.
@BigRockInsights This breaks my heart. I was born and raised in SLC. It's my home and I hate seeing it turn into what it's become. We had to move away because there was nothing we could do to help fix it.
@TerichoHorror I pray that the world can shake off the shackles of this Islamic and authoritarian takeover before it's too late. The cultures of the world and I do not want a world without them.
@The_King_Trout The Bible teaches that we will become like God.
Getting a planet isn't our doctrine. We believe we will be joint heirs with Christ, according to the Bible.
If you want to talk about us, at least get our beliefs right.
@realDrTT It is true. We prefer the full name of our church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, because it reminds us who we serve and worship.
