The Habs locked up most of their core to long term, cap friendly deals as it seems with the intent of winning for years to come. They expect to have 27 Million in cap space for 26/27 season with most of their players already signed. Suzuki received 8 years avg 8 Million, plus 10 Million signing bonus after a 60 point season not bad. The future looks bright.

There were Stars, Super Stars and Bobby Orr. He lead the league in scoring, twice! Think of all the great players in the NHL when he accomplished that? Hull, Esposito, Clarke, Howe, Lafleur. Orr was +124 and had 139 points 1970. Orr was named MVP of the 1976 Canada Cup, playing on one leg. There are three photos in every Boston home: JFK, The Pope and Bobby Orr.

Don Cherry absolutely deserves the honor. He connected with more Canadians than most public figures ever will. Have you heard of Justin Trudeau—do I really need to elaborate? Judges, Senators, the Governor General… appointments made with extreme, performative efforts toward diversity, often at the expense of merit. It turned the process into a mockery.
He proved himself a phony, a hypocrite, and a fraud. Just look at the state he left the country in. I’m not sure Canada will ever fully recover from that era. "people kind"

@marcuslemonis Home building is impacted by ridiculous tariffs on lumber, steel and aluminum. Why tariff resources you will always, always , always need to import? Would removing those tariffs not be a boost to the US economy?

He really can't do any worse. seasoned negotiators, they changed ambassadors and lead negotiators. Just when they seem to be getting close to tariff relief Carney goes and makes a controversial speech or announces support for Palestine. I’m sure the U.S. Administration isn't easy to deal with either, but they just need to get some tariff relief for the sake of businesses and the people
