Week 4 of #OpenScienceOctober features the Education Researchers' Beliefs and Barriers towards Data Sharing Project! Click the link in our bio to access the dataset and codebook on our Open Science October GitHub or go to https://t.co/IAcW4EWjGl.
This week’s dataset focuses on understanding the sex differences among math anxiety, attitudes, and achievement in middle school students. It shows off a feature of LDbase – linked to data stored elsewhere! https://t.co/IAcW4EVLQN
I have absolutely loved working on this project over the past 4 years with @tw_watts, @drewhalbailey, @prithasengupta_, & Sha Luo. Our MERF data is posted for public use on @LDbaseRepo. We have several projects using MERF in the works so stay tuned!

Week 2 of #OpenScienceOctober This week visualized the association between word reading and arithmetic using quantile correlations, finding these to have seemingly stronger associations at the low end of the distribution compared to the high end.
This week’s we’re highlighting Improving Academic Performance of 1st Grade Students with Reading and Math Difficulty project! This dataset is focused on first-graders who have comorbid difficulty across math calculations and word reading. https://t.co/IAcW4EWjGl.

Excited to participate in #OpenScienceOctober this year!
For this week, I looked at two ways of visualizing an association between three variables using gif's. 1) using a 3D scatterplot, and 2) modeling an XY association conditioned on the level of Z.
Excited to participate in #OpenScienceOctober, #DataSharingIsntSpooky this year! @LDbaseRepo
For this week, I created a tree map looking at caregiver response in relation to how many math books they have in the home.
