Liverpool FC. European football.

[Gunnar @LFCgunnar]

It all feels so hollow. Nothing Manchester City do now will matter in a few months. They’ve truly ruined football.

[Gunnar @LFCgunnar]

Kavanagh is a joke of a referee. Fucking abysmal.

[Gunnar @LFCgunnar]

Need more from Barcola and Wirtz here.

[Gunnar @LFCgunnar]

Decent player nothing more.

[²⁹ @beingblackie_]

The younger generation genuinely has no idea how ridiculous this man was in his playing days. 😭

Prime him was a PROBLEM. 🥶

[Gunnar @LFCgunnar]

Anyone who claims Yaya Touré played as a defensive midfielder is this season is either lying or too young to comment.

[MP𖤐 @MagicalPep]

20 goals in a season from a DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDER is absolutely ridiculous. 😱

[Gunnar @LFCgunnar]

Thought Nyoni and Koumas were very good tonight. The former should probably be a starter already considering the state of our midfield but Koumas looked like he can be very useful too.

[Gunnar @LFCgunnar]

Madness

⚽️ GOAL: 3-1

Behave yourself Dom 🚀🧨 https://t.co/mIBGVRoz4a

[Gunnar @LFCgunnar]

Some ridiculous saves from Mamardashvili tonight.

[Gunnar @LFCgunnar]

I’m Gakpo’s biggest critic but you have to say he looks a lot more like 24/25 Gakpo than last season’s imposter. Mac Allister too looks like a different player compared to last season.

[Gunnar @LFCgunnar]

Nyoni has played more line breaking passes in 20 minutes tonight than Gravenberch has in his entire Liverpool career.

[Gunnar @LFCgunnar]

I thought he was one of our worst players last night tbh

[Anfield Pages @AnfieldPages]

Dominik Szoboszlai. MOTM

[Gunnar @LFCgunnar]

Gravenberch has had a proper disasterclass.

[Gunnar @LFCgunnar]

Gravenberch looks like he’s sulking here.

[Gunnar @LFCgunnar]

The referee is a prick.

[Gunnar @LFCgunnar]

I can’t get behind shoving our £100+ signing out on the right wing to accommodate an 18 year old…

[Gunnar @LFCgunnar]

Both Hungarians should be hooked at half time unless Szoboszlai goes to right back.

[Gunnar @LFCgunnar]

We have to start bedding in Nyoni next to Mac Allister soon. Szoboszlai is obviously a very good player but not in a double pivot.

[Gunnar @LFCgunnar]

Kerkez up until this point has been a terrible signing. Not quite as bad as Frimpong but still pretty terrible.

[Gunnar @LFCgunnar]

Kerkez, mate. That is shocking defending.

[Gunnar @LFCgunnar]

Clear penalty
