After a week of A&E visits & antibiotic hunting, I nearly didn't make it to my graduation. Gutted @AimiMcNeill & the boys missed out, but at least I got to have this priceless moment with my mum. All worth the 2 yrs of study, hours in a lab & digging in the dirt. #UClanGraduates

It's been a really fascinating 2 days at the #EWWF conference in Belfast, learning about the human dimensions of wildfires. The most important lesson 2 take away is that we all need to show Compassionate Leadership 2 tackle this complex problem together #listeningwithfascination

Whilst I have an interest in wildfire causation, I also research the impact of wildfires. In particular the impact of wildfire smoke on the firefighters, we rely on to extinguish them. PM2.5 which is in the smoke is particularly hazardous to health. See below #wildfires #FBUdecon
