This all goes so far beyond education workers now. If this government… if ANY government gets to use the notwithstanding clause like this, how does collective bargaining in the public sector exist in Canada going forward? #onpoli#cdnpoli#cupestrike#OntEd
By targeting the lowest paid workers in our schools, Ford is marching us into more disruption and telling every worker in Ontario that their rights don’t matter.
We're standing up for workers, for students, for fairness - and against this dangerous bill
#onpoli#39kIsNotEnough
The Government has just passed Bill 28, and in so doing, trampled on the rights of education workers. I’m terrified to think which workers will be next.
The Premier and Deputy Premier didn’t even have the courage to appear in the chamber themselves and vote.

It’s pretty wild that members get kicked out Question Period for calling out lies from the Ford government, but there are no consequences for Doug Ford’s Conservatives repeatedly telling those lies during it. #onpoli
"How will the fundamental stripping of constitutionally protected rights to organize and strike affect you if they go ahead this Tuesday? Do you have a backup plan?"
Fixed it for you.

I anticipate the Ford gov will soon announce a new plan-on-a-napkin as their current “good luck everyone” strategy has not been received well.
Ontario needs a government that will be proactive instead of constantly reacting last minute to chaos. We deserve better. #onpoli
4 years ago, Doug Ford’s government froze minimum wage, cut paid sick days, and cancelled the previous @OntLiberal gov’s 2019 increase to $15/ hour.
It’s now 2022 and min wage has finally gone up to $15 as Premier Ford pats himself on the back.
Remember this in June. #onpoli
We recommend that the government delay the return to in-person learning to provide all students in #OntEd with adequate PPE. We also recommend that the provincial government continue to monitor COVID-19 cases in schools and communicate the number of case counts to the community.
Beyond excited to report that I have successfully defended my Master's thesis! So grateful to my committee and to all of my amazing lab colleagues that showed up to support. 💜 🥳 So, uh... now what?

It is okay to not be okay ... and you are NOT alone.
