この自動販売機の惨状を初めて見たとき、言葉を失った。

ゴミが無差別に敷き詰められ、壊れかけた扉はテープで何度も止め直され、落書きだらけ。

「ここは本当に日本か？」
そう疑うほどの異常さだった。

落書きは消されたが、犯行は何度も繰り返され今回の悲劇に繋がった。

渋谷センター街には100台を超える監視AIカメラが設置されているが、防犯面では飾りでしかないことを、この惨状が物語っている。

そういう場所では、通りがかる複数の人が｢ここではやっても大丈夫｣
と認識して悲劇が広がる。

ゴミ対策も防犯対策も、形だけでは意味がない。

実用性を直視しない限り、このイタチごっこは永遠に続いてしまう。

なぜBTSは世界中の人々から愛されるのだろう。
（全くの個人的な感想です。）

私は、その理由の一つは「微笑ましさ」だと思っている。
バンドやグループは、成功すればするほど難しくなる。
それぞれがスターになり、
「もっと評価されたい」
誰がセンターなのか。
誰が一番人気なのか。
誰が多く歌い、
誰が多く稼ぐのか。
と思うのは、ごく自然なことだ。

そうした比較や競争が積み重なり、
「音楽性の違い」という言葉を残して、
それぞれの道を歩むグループを私たちは数多く見てきた。

でも、BTSは少し違うように見える。 彼らは、
JIMINのダンスを称え、
J-Hopeの表現力に感動し、
RMとSUGAのラップを唯一無二だと語る。
Vの声と人柄を愛し、
JKの歌声を誇りに思い、
JINの存在感や人間性を心から尊敬している。

「この人がいてくれるからBTSなんだ。」

そんな思いが、言葉や行動の端々から伝わってくる。
もちろん、私たちが見ているのは彼らのすべてではない。 それでも、彼らを見ていると、
「兄弟」や「家族」という言葉だけでは表せない、
存在そのものを認め合い、愛し合っているような関係が伝わってくる。

だから見ていて微笑ましいのだ。

実は私自身、「ライバルをうらやましい」と思ったことがないと言えば嘘になる。
もっと正直に言えば、「邪魔だな……」と思ってしまったことだってある。
人間だから、それは自然な感情だと思う。

だからこそ、あれほど才能ある7人が、
お互いを認め、支え合い、十数年もの間、一つのグループとして歩み続けていることが、
どれほど尊く、奇跡的なことなのかがわかる。

世界中の人々がBTSに惹かれる理由は、音楽やパフォーマンスだけではない。
そこには、私たちがどこかで憧れている「愛の形」がある。
だから彼らは、世界を魅了し続けるのだと思う。

そして今、BTSが世界に示している「音楽に国境はない」という姿勢と、お互いを尊重し合うその愛のあり方こそ、
本当はグラミー賞が学ぶべきものなのではないだろうか。
