More than 9,000 health-care workers in the United States have tested positive for covid-19, the CDC found. They are mostly white, female and in their 40s, and although most were not sick enough to be hospitalized, 27 died. #COVID19#familyhealth https://t.co/vqKGCBBgxb

“A PhD is hard. But a good supervisor makes it much easier” Very true, because mentorship is not a role or a privilege. It is an investment that one should be capable to passionately make
@canadanurses@DiabetesCanada@Mike_villeneuve We certainly need a new direction. I recently attended a conference on T2DM & was so disheartened to see that all the focus was on medication therapy. Our strategy against T2DM should focus on prevention & reversal with proper diet & exercise; especially among early & pre T2DM.
#HappyThanksgiving to my family, friends, & colleagues. In this day, I am especially thankful for the amazing personal & professional journey that transformed my life from that of a struggling refugee to that of a nursing scholar & a proud citizen of the best country 🇨🇦 on Earth.
What a passionate group of individuals at today’s forum to establish a rural, remote, and Indigenous Telehealth Research Centre. #telehealth#remotemedicine#remoteteaching
On this day in 1967, Dame Cicely Saunders and St. Christopher's Hospice admitted their first patient setting the stage for #hospice to become a bigger part of caring for the whole patient and family.

Your Canadian nursing colleagues stand with you in decrying this shameful attempt to jeopardize good public health policy in the service of economic control tactics. Our profession needs to be strong and clear on how deeply wrong this is. @canadanurses@NNP_BC@UBCNursing https://t.co/UNN2SEu7Hg
