@CountCarbula I felt exactly the same when I did Tough Mudder In Yorkshire the other weekend! Anyone can tick no, but I had a negative result 3 days later and again when I did my weekly testing for work thankfully!

I find the musculoskeletal services provided by @LivHospitals absolutely appalling! Yes I get we’re in a pandemic still, but to be discharged without notification after having 1 phone assessment and being told I would require face to face sessions for my issue-disgusting care!

@pumpydavies I’ve still been going to work I’m a nurse I actually feel safer in work due to PPE than in the shops but as said before a lot of shops have good hygiene &I don’t go unless absolutely necessary. Definitely contact your diabetes team though they should have been in touch!
@1Paulcoker@JulieABrake @JDRFUK That would be amazing if you could! I’ve wanted to get back into running for a while now but have been apprehensive on how to manage my T1 around it 😩
Nope. That is inaccurate and ineffective. It’s called scaremongering.
As someone who comes across young adults with #diabetes daily, I can assure you that is the most effective way to disengage, distress and loose them.
@t1_aoibhinn That if you are living in halls or student/shared accommodation that the building manager/landlord know about your T1 and have your parents contact details incase of emergencies
