The #Antares CRS NG-19 launch from @NASA_Wallops seen from New York just between the clouds! I watched the second stage ignite and knew instantly we were getting a show.
Mid level funnel? I’m not seeing much in the way of rotation on radar but lots of convection in that area and that feature has been there for a solid 10 minutes now. If it’s rotating it’s weak. @NWSNewYorkNY
T-minus 1 year from today until a “ring of fire” or annular eclipse cuts through Texas. I already have a spot picked out in Uvalde where totality goes through the following year! #Eclipse @chrisgeorgiabts
Earth now has an asteroid defense system! @NASA#DARTMission hit #Dimorphos center bullseye! Not bad hitting an asteroid the size of the Washington Monument from 7 million miles away while cruising just over 14,000mph! Final view before impact 👊🏻🦾🚀🎯
@KarimElmahmoudi@SpaceX Yes but it would usually be a point of light. This had an enormous vapor trail I’ve never seen here before. I’ve seen flames here during a launch from Wallops Island but this by far the most gorgeous, spectacular, vivid launch I’ve ever seen this far downrange from a launch site.
@realDonaldTrump You should probably hire a meteorologist. Or even have a high school science student help you out. TS Fay will be in Canada by late tomorrow morning. Even if it was still around for your rally, a 747 could easily takeoff and land in the winds of a weak depression.
