I, along with Harvinder Chadha, Senior Advocate, requested the Hon’ble Chief Justice of India to direct the Registry to list the Writ Petition filed by my humble self along with a few others—lawyers and citizens—seeking the registration of an FIR against Justice Varma. Now, even the committee constituted by the Speaker of the Lok Sabha and headed by a sitting judge of the Supreme Court itself has indicted him. We have nothing personal against Justice Varma; we hardly even know him. It is all about the concept of the rule of law—that nobody is above the law. The Hon’ble CJI did not give any definite reply. We, however, hope that the Hon'ble CJI will direct the Registry to list the case for hearing. Fingers crossed.

Writ Petition Seeking Registration of an FIR in the Recovery of Burned Currency at the Residence of Justice Varma, to be Mentioned Before the CJI at 10.30 am on 20th August 2026

Be you never so high, the law is above you" is the very core of our Constitution. Even the king, though not under man, is under law and God. Nobody is immune from the penal laws of the land. However, even after two Committees headed by judges of the Supreme Court/Chief Justice of a High Court have indicted Justice Varma, no FIR has been registered. This has left my humble self and other lawyers and citizens with no option but to knock the doors of the Supreme Court for a direction to register an FIR and conduct a meaningful investigation of the incident of recovery of huge volumes of currency, burnt and unburnt, at the official residence of Justice Yashwant Varma, then judge of the Delhi High Court.
I will be mentioning the matter at 10.30 am tomorrow before the CJI. A copy of the petition is posted in NLC WhatsApp groups.

Corruption in judiciary is well known and well accepted by people from within and outside the same legal community. Despite @narendramodi @BJP4India @RSSorg being in power for more than 10 years, nothing has been done this count. If #BharatAmritkaal vision has to become true this must be addressed at priority. லக்னோ நகரைச் சேர்ந்த ஆயூஷி படேல் என்னும் இளம் பெண் நீட் தேர்வில் தனக்கு இழைக்கப்பட்ட அநீதியை எதிர்த்து ஒரு வீடியோ வெளியிட்டிருக்கிறார்.

நீட் தேர்வு வெளியான அன்று இவரது முடிவுகள் மட்டும் வெளியாகவில்லை. இவரது மாமா உயர்நீதி மன்றத்தில் வக்கீலாக இருப்பதால், அவரது உதவியோடு, நீட் தேர்வை நடத்தும் தேசிய நிறுவனத்துடன் தொடர்பு கொண்டு விசாரித்திருக்கிறார்கள். ‘ஆயூஷியின் விடைத்தாள் கிழிந்து விட்டது’, என்று பதில் வந்திருக்கிறது.

கிழிந்த விடைத்தாளின் நகலைக் கேட்டிருக்கிறார்கள். அதைக் கேட்டுப் பெறும் உரிமை உண்டு. அப்படிப் பெறப்பட்ட விடைத்தாளில், ஆயூஷி அளித்திருந்த விடைகளைக் கூட்டிப் பார்த்த போது 715 மதிப்பெண்கள் வந்தன என ஆருஷி கூறுகிறார்.

இப்போது, அந்த விடைத்தாளை வெளியிட்டு, தனக்கு நீதி வேண்டிக் குரல் கொடுத்திருக்கிறார். எந்த மன உளைச்சலுக்கும் ஆளாகாமல், தனக்கு இழைக்கப்பட்ட அநீதிக்குக் குரல் கொடுத்த ஆயுஷி பாரட்டப்பட வேண்டியவர். இளைஞர்களுக்கான முன்னுதாரணம் எனச் சொல்ல வேண்டும்

இதில வெளிப்படும் சில கசப்பான உண்மைகள்:

1. நீட் தேர்வை அவர் மூன்றாவது முறையாக எழுதியிருக்கிறார்.

2. தனது வாழ்க்கையின் மூன்றாண்டுகளை தேர்வுக்கான தயாரிப்பில் கழிப்பதற்கான ஒரு வசதி அவரிடம் உள்ளது.

3. தேர்வு முடிவுகளை எதிர்த்துக் குரல் கொடுக்க அவரது உறவினர் உயர்நீதி மன்ற வக்கீலாக இருந்தது உதவியிருக்கிறது.

4. தமிழ்நாடு போன்ற மாநிலங்களில், +2 மதிப்பெண்கள் அடிப்படையில் இலவசமாகக் கிடைத்து வந்த மருத்துவப் படிப்பு அனுமதி, இன்று தமிழ்நாட்டில் மட்டுமே 1000 கோடிக்கும் அதிகமான வணிகமாக மாற்றப்பட்டு விட்டது.

5. இது ஏழைகளுக்கும், ஒடுக்கப்பட்ட, ஊரக மக்களுக்கும் நன்மையானது என்று பரப்புரை வேறு செய்யப்படுகிறது.
