My next retro rescue / refurb project, kindly donated to me by @Danjones_uk Thank you so much mate! ๐
Gateway 2000 - P5-120 (Pentium 120Mhz) from 1996.
An absolute beast, nearly 2ft tall!
First it needs an initial quick cleanup, it's grubby!
@Gammitin Nice mate! I still have dell branded window 3.1 sealed. I actually sold the Dell 486 now but held onto those disks. Lucky I have it opened too so dont need to consider opening them
I really miss @lazygamereviews thrifts videos, the earlier ones really were a step back in time when collecting old curiosities was easier. You can see the slow down in availability of the fun finds as the series goes on.
I am giving up retro collecting or rather "Hoarding" and just keeping things I will genuinely use or care for. It was great to be able to make some youtube videos and get some positive interactions and be a part of this amazing community around retro hardware.
Throwback to my historical Intel powered laptop line up I did a while back: 286 to Core-2-Duo.
I need to do another one, as I have quite a few 8086, 8088 powered 'laptops' now.
