@michaelgrange Is there any team that could actually facilitate Leonard signing? I imagine he'd have to fit into the mid level at this point to actually straight up sign with the Raptors?
@JonathanWillis I think this is why we've seen so many first rounders dealt for nhlers on term this year. The value calc of an entry level deal has changed quite a lot
@JonathanWillis I think the other thing is Nuge has been bad on the PK for a few of years now and I'd rather he not play there any more, maybe Samanski can take that spot?
@JLazzy23 Players don't have the right to do this until they would have reached UFA status, so its 7 years of a team having complete control over the player and they can trade them when and wherever they want. The idea that a player in their 10th year is suddenly a bad actor is nonsense.
@Sportsnet@SportsnetSpec This article sure seems to want to give Bowman a pass for doing hard work to learn and move forward a better person and leader. But Bowman is now hiring a serial abuser, so how much has he actually learned???
@emilymkaplan I hope that people will be asking Stan Bowman how hiring a serial abuser jives with his ding better and learning and all he other snake oil he sold.
@patriotsnorth10@BiggLeee34@MLarkinHockey My overall point is you can't just post defensive numbers with no context.
Hiller's teams very obviously sacrificed offense for defense. And its not clear that's a good thing overall (it probably was not imo).
