I can renew my international passport on my phone and do my biometric capture on the same device in the convenience of my home thanks to Dr @BTOofficial and his patriotic team.

Yet in the same country renewing my driver’s license will take over one year with perilous burning of precious time at the @FRSCNigeria office, without any guarantee that their printer or internet service will work. This dichotomy is uncanny and dystopian.

The @officialABAT administration must avoid playing dead to these mismatch, remove indolent misfits from the system and replace them with technocrats who can get the job done. There must be effective harmonization of data across board and citizens must never be subjected to needless hardship when the solution is obvious.

The FRSC hardly take prisoners when it comes to harassing road users yet they have a dysfunctional system that doesn’t encourage citizens to do the needful. This shouldn’t take time to fix if we don’t let politics get in the way. 🚔

@BashirAhmaad The shame is that the electrical engineering dept of d uni allowed this to happen. So what do they teach their students? Even when provided with diesel generators, outside artisans will be called to maintain & repair them. We should call out these glorified schools called unis!
