@johnnyddavidson Its far worse. Critical point. Life or death, it's that serious and most people are ignoring the elephant in the room...the clock is ticking for all of us. Grim
@CruRLSC Huge respect for you and the lads in keeping this team going in what is a shambles of RL. We need more people like you, Midlands,Newcastle and London in our game. Its called expansion and the future1 👏👏
@Bingbongbo10475@MikeMeehallWood 100% lack of foresight and more self indulgent people in charge for far too long. Change now or RL in the UK is pretty much done
@MikeMeehallWood@Bingbongbo10475 I know all this. So what's your point? All the above have TV deals worth more than RL have in the bank. Which brings me back to my first point of mismanagement over decades
@Bingbongbo10475@MikeMeehallWood RL has been on the backfoot for decades. Rugby Union is the poor relative in regards to entertainment but they've been smarter in other areas. Sadly our game has too often relied on small minded big money with no vision
@AaronBower This is not the problem Aaron. We haven't engaged casual viewers for a long time. Another mess. Those at the top of the sport have bigger issues right now like the survival of a game thats on its knees across the board. The captains challenge is the least of our worries
Today we say farewell to one of the rugby league greats in Ray French - who most of us grew up listening to 🎙️
Here he is reflecting on some of his most infamous commentary lines…
Thanks for the memories Ray, for a generation of rugby league fans you will never be forgotten ❤️
@vicderbyshire I don't think I've ever been so emotionally moved by an interview.. The family wants to put the record straight. They certainly did that, showing bravery and also vulnerability..wow. Blew me away. Victoria your questions and handling of the delicate situation was outstanding
