Curie dedicated her life to science. She was the first woman to be awarded a Nobel Prize, the first person to be awarded twice and is still the only person to receive the prize in two different scientific fields.

Curie died #OTD in 1934.

Today I was reminded of the opportunity cost of internship opportunities. Choosing between eating and experience, paying for student teaching, volunteering for licensing hours, or needing multiple internships are barriers to entry. Can we make un(der)paid, internships illegal!?
